I discovered a new command line program this week called Tododo. It does exactly what I’ve wanted for a long time. It lets you quickly make a list, reprioritize and mark each task as completed. It’s fast and all keyboard-based.
I’ve moved mostly to writing things down in a notebook these days, but I don’t normally enjoy doing this particular task on paper, because I feel like it gets messy quickly. I can make a list, but if I then mark priorities, the list is often out of order. What if I change priorities throughout the day? This seems more flexible. I don’t think it’s something I’ll need everyday, but it’s nice to have on days where I feel overwhelmed. I can quickly get everything out of my head and then proceed one step at a time.
