We don’t sell your data. Ever. (We don’t even have your data to sell).
We don’t have logins, comments, or payment forms.

So, What Does Happen?

Like almost every website on the planet, our hosting provider automatically keeps a very basic “server log” when you visit. Think of it like a security camera at the front door of a shop—it just notes that someone walked in, not who they are. This log briefly records:

Your IP address (a number assigned to your internet connection).
Your browser type (e.g., Safari, Chrome).
The time you visited.

Why? Only for security and to make sure the site doesn’t crash. We don’t look at these logs to analyze your behavior, and our host deletes them automatically after a standard period (typically 30–90 days). We don’t combine this with anything else to figure out your identity.

Third Parties

We keep our tech stack tiny. Our site is hosted by Nixihost. They handle the security logs mentioned above. We don’t share your info with advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else because, simply put, we don’t have any info to share. We even host the fonts we use locally to minimize data tracking.

We use VideoPress (provided by Automattic Inc.) to host and stream video content on our website. VideoPress is a private video hosting service that does not display third-party advertisements or track users for advertising purposes.

When you play a video on our site, VideoPress automatically collects and processes the following technical data to ensure proper delivery and generate basic usage statistics for us:

Site Information: Our site ID and domain name.

Content Context: The specific page or post ID where the video is embedded.

Interaction Data: Timestamps of when a video is played, paused, or stopped.

Device Information: Technical data required for streaming, such as your IP address (processed temporarily for content delivery) and browser type.

No Third-Party Analytics Sharing: We have not enabled Google Analytics integration with VideoPress. Therefore, no video metadata (such as file size, quality, or unique video IDs) or user interaction data is shared with Google or any other advertising/analytics networks. Data is shared solely with Automattic for the purpose of hosting and delivering the video content.
